edacentrum is an independent institution geared towards promoting research and development in the Electronic Design Automation (EDA) sector. Usefulness to community at large |
| edacentrum stimulates, supports and promotes the German EDA network in terms of research, development and education. To this end it provides a comprehensive range of online information (incl. a conference calendar) and it organises conferences and workshops. It also promotes the bundling of existing EDA competency at German research institutes through means of EDA cluster research projects. Furthermore, it undertakes press and public relations activities in upper corporate management, politics and in the general public with the aim of enhancing the transparency of electronic design automation as a central approach towards arriving at solutions for complex microelectronic problems. |

| edacentrum furnishes its members with multi-faceted information of practical usefulness (such as, e.g. newsletter, EDA atlas, conference reports) and also makes its network available to them. more |
Services for partners in R&D projects |
| As part of the “agreement of expenses”, a reimbursement of expenses, edacentrum initiates, assesses and supports industry-managed EDA R&D projects.more |
Individual services |
| In addition to the services referred to, edacentrum also offers wide-ranging, individual, chargeable services on all matters involving chip development processes and R&D projects.more
