The edacentrum has participated in the development of the VISA QIP

The edacentrum has contributed to the VSIA Quality IP Metric (QIP) version 2.0 and has pushed its free publication. QIP offers a possibility to measure the risk of soft IP modules (RTL). Metrics for other types of IP will follow. Since the beginning of 2006 even non VSIA members are allowed to check QIP 2.0 and edacentrum will support you. Ask for it at: qualification@edacentrum.de

Recruitment at edacentrum

Since the beginning of 2006, the consulting area at edacentrum is reinforced by Kurt Liebermann from Dortmund. The computer scientist has about 7 years of experience in the area of EDA tool development for Analog/Mixed-Signal layout design.

New European Projekt CLEAN has started

In the midth of november 2005 the Projekt (Controlling LEAkage power in NanoCMOS SoCs) has been started. The Consortia consists of 14 European Partners, thereunder edacentrum, which - within this context - will organize a workshop in autumn 2006 in Munich. CLEAN Project

EDA Achievement Award 2004 assigned

Ekompass-Workshop 2003 sucessful

This years Ekompass-Workshop, the event for EDA-funding in Germany has been a very sucessful event. Although it' is a national event, and thus a german website, some pictures may be interesting.

It took a long time, but we finally managed it. The English website is online!
Everyone is invited to learn more about the edacentrum and its mission, to bridge the Design Gap. It is recommended to use javascript for browsing, otherwise the top menue would not work properly and especially without pull-down. The Design has been optimized for Explorer and Netscape versions 6.x
